State of the art terminal infrastructure for marine and roadfuels

Project GreenSTR* fills the gap of needed infrastructure tailored at the storage and blending of marine fuels. The marine fuels landscape changes due to legislative incentives and decarbonization initiatives.

As terminal active in the marine fuels storage market, STR intends to stay ahead of the developments. Product flexibility is a key aspect to what is needed in an uncertain environment. Project GreenSTR* intends to store biofuels like (m)ethanol / FAME and HVO. 

The project has run through the conceptual stage. Land and quays are available and permit applications are in preparation as well as engineering of the project. Connectivity with seagoing shipping as well as barging will be in place. 

Vessels up to MR size can be berthed, and barges and coasters are included in the scope as well. Also a rail connection and truck loading is envisaged to cater for further inland connectivity.
